Absolutely Amazing Results I have had severe chronic muscle tightness and joint immobility issues for about 25yrs. My job of 39yrs involves very physical repetition. I have been in physical therapy and getting deep tissue massages for 14yrs. I would feel better, but it was very short lived. I felt as if these treatments were only treating symptoms, but never addressed the root issue of my problems. I felt as if I was on a roller coaster that I would never be free of. Yet, I was still getting worse very slowly and very slowly these treatments helped less and less. I began to search for another option. I found out about Madison Orthopedic Massage. Amazing Results - Sciatica & Fallen Arch Today was my third visit to Sunrise. He is always thorough in his approach to resolve my problems. The first two times I went to Sunrise was for a long three year sciatica pain running from my low back to my ankle. Daily pain! I had been to a medical doctor, 2 chiropractors and had physical therapy. All helped a little with the PT helping the most. I was still in pain. Sunrise resolved it all. No more pain! Today I went it because I thought I had sprang my ankle and the pain was going up my leg. It is actually a fallen arch and after he worked on it it feels better. He always gives me exercises and suggestions for what will help. I am so thankful a friend recommended him. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough.

Amazing Results I've seen both Amy and Sunrise for the past two years. Recently, I broke both elbows and have been doing physical therapy. The bones are healed but my arms aren't straight. Back to the Harp I would like to share my experience at Madison Orthopedic Massage. I am so thrilled with the results! When I first contacted Sunrise Gervais, I had become unable to play the harp because of incredible pain and loss of mobility in my right shoulder. Fitness Professional Amazed! Amazing!!!!!!! Because of the extreme situation of healing as a fitness professional I did not look forward to my session with Sunrise because, physical therapy has not been a picnic. I even questioned if I could get help with my shoulder, arm, and L1, though I know Sunrise is one of the best in his field. I had heard of craniosacral therapy but did not know that much about it. After I told Sunrise my disability for the last 3 months he though craniosacral therapy would be the best. I am schedule to take my back brace off next week but before I went to Sunrise I questioned that I would be ready. Now, a day after I got the therapy I almost forget to put the brace on. The therapy is like getting your field lines of your spine moving the fluid like it should to where the body knows it needs healing. I was pleasingly surprise that I felt the muscles eventually give way to the light touch. I have already told folks about this. I would highly recommend it. I had previously bought new shoes to alleviate the pain, visited a podiatrist, a chiropractor and had a foot massage from another therapist. Great Massage Therapists for Multiple Issues I highly recommend Madison Orthopedic Massage, and my family and friends visit them as well. Both Amy and Sunrise are excellent in their specialities and are personable as well as highly professional. I have gone to Amy for relief from tightness and pain in my neck and shoulders especially. She has worked with me to make sure I am comfortable and get the most benefit during the massage. Sunrise focuses more on the orthopedic aspects of the massage and worked with me to treat a sore bicep and shoulder using slow stretches and controlled breathing during the massage. My husband is also going to Sunrise for treatment after a total knee replacement and says the massages have helped with decreasing pain and loosening the tightness around the joint. I only wish I could go more often.

Orthopedic Massage Will keep try to keep this short. I have been to many massage therapists in my life but have not met anyone like Sunrise. All of the massage therapists I have been to work on alleviating the symptoms. Sunrise does do this but he also attempts to get to the cause of the problem. Pain-free Living I have seen Sunrise twice for separate issues, and both times his orthopedic massage techniques addressed the underlying issue. The first was lower back pain that had persisted for over 10 years. I walked away pain-free and have remained pain-free by doing his recommended stretching. Since the appointment I have been able to run, lift weights, and ski pain-free. The second time he treated a whiplash injury that exacerbated pre-existing discomfort. I walked away with greater mobility and blood flow in my neck and shoulders, and an 80% reduction in pain on that first day. The orthopedic massage techniques Sunrise uses have helped me more than any physical therapy appointment. He is a great listener and always professional. I highly recommend!

Please...don't retire anytime soon! I had achy, sore hands and wrists from tying wiring harnesses with waxed lacing cord. Sunrise, did some kind of magic orthopedic massage, and the soreness vanished. My left heel have been hurting and first time he worked on that, reduced that pain by 90%. Same Day Need I woke up feeling horrible after sleeping the wrong way. I was in so much pain that it was impacting work. I did a google search and saw Madison Orthopedic Message. Wonderful experience This was my first time to see Sunrise. He helped eliminate my hip pain. He explained why he was doing certain moves and stretches. My muscles were very tight and they have hurt for several months. He was very patient with me and kept trying different stretches. By the end of my session,the pain I came in with was gone! Sunrise is amazing I recently saw Sunrise to assist with my stiff neck, pain in upper and lower back, tensonitis in left wrist and pain in left shoulder. In a matter of minutes he took the pain away from my wrist and shoulder with some specific maneuvers. I have very bacd sciatica and laying flat on a table kills my back. Sunrise placed a cushion device on the massage table for me to lay on it actually straightened my posture. Well, a combination of his massage techniques and the cushion, allowed my posture to stay straight for 2 weeks. BTW, neck and back are feeling great!!! Thank you Sunrise.

Not your typical massage I recently had a lumbar fusion and a double fusion in my neck. In order to have the best outcome possible after surgery I did some research and opted to incorporate massage as part of my recovery. After looking into several therapists I picked Sunrise as the person who seemed most qualified to help someone with my specific needs. Sunrise is very knowledgeable in the anatomy and structure of the spine and surrounding muscles and ligaments. His ability to rehabilitate post surgical and other patients with specific medical needs is one of the reasons I am recovering so well. Moving on Sunrise has essentially corrected the problem in my shoulders, and aside from occasional bouts of stress that may cause some discomfort in my shoulders, I feel like he has taken care of that issue completely. Now he is working on the poor circulation in my legs and after just one session I can already see the difference. The great thing with Sunrise is that he not only addresses the issue while in session, but he will send you home with tips on how to help work on the issue while out of session. Hip pain greatly reduced - and great massage too I had been having issues with my left hip for almost a year. Tests showed no arthritis and no tears. Physical therapy was of minimal help. Sunrise concentrated therapy on my hip for about 20 minutes of my 90 minute massage. I was leaving the next day on a vacation and was hoping my hip would not give me too much discomfort. I was pleasantly surprised when it felt much better the next day and subsequent days. It is barely bothering me currently - the best it's felt in a year. Sunrise also suggested some stretching exercises for my hip that have been beneficial, too. Sunrise is very knowledgeable about the muscles, tendons, etc. and he really helped with my problem. And the remainder of my massage was very relaxing and of high quality.

Disc Problems? You're at the RIGHT PLACE! After trying chiropractic treatment, decompression, and spinal injections for the bulging discs in my neck, I was told that my only option was surgery. Exceptional After 4+ years with another massage therapist, I began using Tree of Life Massage and Sunrise when my prior therapist moved. I was pleased with my prior therapist but after my first session with Sunrise I knew that I had found someone much, much better. Subsequent sessions have only reinforced that conclusion. Sunrise does an exceptional Swedish massage for general relaxation. The deep tissue massage is great for working out those really bothersome sore spots and minor aches and pains. Sunrise does a great job listening to my concerns and then tailoring the massage to work on those areas I have mentioned. He gives suggestions on quick exercises to do between massages which help with the regular stress and the aches/pains of everyday living. Amazing help with my injury When I first went to Sunrise it was for a relaxing hot stone massage, but a few months after I started seeing him I injured both my shoulders in back to back falls. Sunrise has been amazing in helping me work through my injuries. He has studied extensively and has implemented many different techniques in helping me to heal. Improvement From the time I started going to Sunrise to help with my two injured shoulders I have made marked improvements with each treatment. Today although I am not completely 100% the mobility in both shoulders has greatly improved. I am able to perform movements that before I couldn't without intense pain. Sunrise monitors what works for me and is always improving on his treatments. I am so happy to be more mobile in doing some everyday activities that use to bring on intense pain. Thanks Sunrise!

AWESOME I have went to Sunrise off and on for the past 2 years, recently I went back to him as I was suffering from lower back and leg pain. It has been AWESOME... I have recommended him to several people and explained that he has helped me where a chiropractic has not. He is very knowledgeable and will explain all that he is going to be doing. awesome massage therapist Sunrise is an excellent therapist. I am new to massage therapy and was unsure of its benefits. I am also very modest and his technique makes me feel comfortable and never overexposed. The aches in my hips and legs has been significantly reduced. Sunrise is a knowledgeable therapist who knows the body and will adjust your massage to whatever you need that day. He also has a new massage table that works magic in my lower back.

Commendation I went back to treeoflife for a second massage yesterday [06-18-2014] and again after an excellent, focused massage that was filled-with acute precision in my back, legs, shoulders and chest I felt re-energized, relaxed and thereby enabling me to leave with a positive outlook. Reduced lower back and schiatica pain I didn't want to take pain pills every day, but my lower back pain and related schiatica leg/calf pain was excruciating. Over the period of several months, Sunrise explained musculature, gave me deep tissue massages to relieve my pain, and showed me helpful exercises that would reduce my pain and that I could do on my own. I believe he is the very best in Huntsville - hands down.

This Guy Knows What He's Doing! I am a massage therapist myself and I have had many massages with Sunrise. I have found him to be very thorough and his knowledge about massage therapy is unfounded. He addresses my issues and gives good advice on stretches and self-help. I always feel relaxed and much better than I did before the massage. This guy knows what he's doing!
